Who this appointment suits
This appointment is offered as a new-client acne facial for people of any age, which means teens aged 15 and under can be seen as new clients. Follow-up acne facials at SkinHappy are reserved for clients aged 16 and older, so minors under 16 seeking repeat treatments should discuss the best scheduling option with staff during their first visit.
This service is provided without the Face Reality acne program (FRAP), so treatment focuses on in-spa modalities and an individualized plan created by your esthetician. For younger clients we use gentler touch and tailor therapies to developing skin, prioritizing comfort and inflammation control rather than intensive medical protocols.
What happens during treatment
Sessions begin with a focused skin assessment and a gentle cleanse to prepare the skin for targeted therapies. Your esthetician may use healing LED Blue Light Therapy and manual lymphatic drainage of the face and neck, selected for their suitability on teen skin and to support reduction of swelling and congestion.
Cold Therapy is used where appropriate to help reduce inflammation and soothe reactive areas; it is applied carefully to avoid discomfort. The full appointment runs 50 MINUTES, allowing time for assessment, therapies, and a brief consultation about home care and next steps.
Aftercare and local considerations
Aftercare instructions are provided at the end of your session and tailored to the teen's skin and any products they already use. Greenville's humid subtropical climate can affect oil production and product choice, so your esthetician will recommend simple routines suited to local weather and activity levels without promising specific results.
SkinHappy Skincare Studio is located in Greenville's North Main / Eastside corridor near Five Points and Cleveland Park, convenient for commuters and I-385 drivers. We serve Greenville and nearby communities such as Mauldin, Simpsonville, Taylors, Greer, and Travelers Rest, making evening and weekend appointments accessible for families and busy teens.
