What full extractions involve
Full acne extractions are an add-on designed for clients who need more than the light extractions that come with most facials. Before booking, confirm your chosen facial does not already include “full” extractions. Full work is more thorough, takes additional time, and is focused on addressing hardened or hidden comedones across the whole face.
Unlike light extractions that address the most obvious lesions, a full extraction session inspects and treats the entire face by sections. The esthetician assesses each area carefully to prioritize clogged pores and persistent spots, working methodically rather than only addressing immediately visible blemishes.
How we work section-by-section
We approach the face in distinct zones — hairline, forehead, temples, cheeks, chin, jawline, nose, upper neck and outer ears — examining each area for different types of congestion. This sectional method helps the esthetician allocate time to spots that commonly recur and to ensure no area is overlooked during the focused session.
Adding this service extends your facial time to address those areas thoroughly. The add-on cost is $25 and the duration is 20 MINUTES, so it’s typically scheduled alongside a facial to allow a coordinated, uninterrupted treatment sequence.
Preparing and aftercare expectations
Decide whether to add full extractions by checking your facial description and confirming it doesn’t already include them; most facials include light extractions by default. If you have questions about skin sensitivity or a specific breakout pattern, mention it during booking so the esthetician can confirm whether a full session is appropriate.
Plan appointments with our convenient North Main / Eastside location in Greenville, which is easy for downtown commuters, I-385 drivers, and visitors to Falls Park or the Swamp Rabbit Trail. The esthetician will provide personalized aftercare guidance at the appointment; follow those instructions and schedule any follow-up treatments as recommended.
