Your esthetician will cleanse, dermaplane using a sterile blade, then apply soothing serums and masks. The treatment is quick, relaxing, and leaves skin immediately smoother and more radiant.
Most clients feel little to no discomfort. Dermaplaning is gentle and noninvasive; you may notice light scraping sensations but no significant pain. Sensitive areas are approached with extra care.
There is minimal downtime. You may experience slight redness for a few hours, but most clients return to normal activities immediately. Avoid strong exfoliants and sun exposure for a few days.
Typically every 3 to 6 weeks is recommended, depending on hair growth and skin goals. Your esthetician will create a personalized schedule to maintain smoothness and ongoing exfoliation benefits.
Ideal candidates include those with dull texture, peach fuzz, or uneven skin tone. Not recommended for active acne, open wounds, or certain skin conditions; consult our esthetician for a safe assessment.
Risks are minimal when performed by trained professionals. Possible temporary redness, light irritation, or microabrasions can occur. Disclose skin conditions and medications beforehand to ensure safe treatment and minimize complications.
